Meet MLEDGE partners: Acuratio

Acuratio (https://acuratio.com/) is a Spanish start-up pioneering the field of privacy-preserving and collaborative machine learning. They authored the first open-source implementation of the FedAvg federated learning algorithm in 2018, which has now evolved into a comprehensive platform supporting vertical and horizontal FL and federated analytics. The company works actively with financial and insurance companies in use cases aimed at sharing data while preserving data privacy and confidentiality.

The company is developing a FLaaS platform, a basic building block of MLEDGE architecture, and actively participating in the three use cases of the project. Moreover, this platform will be used to test some FL research algorithms developed by IMDEA Networks Institute in practice.
